Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Daniel Dagen served corporate executives, founders and owners of public and private businesses, wealthy families and professionals as a stockbroker.

As these relationships grew, many expressed a need for more than investment ideas. Beyond wealth accumulation, clients often sought a process to organize and provide clarity so they could enjoy and protect the fruits of their life’s work. Much like the patients who need someone to coordinate and assure that all the separate prescriptions are working in harmony; Daniel’s clients seemed to prefer a unified vision. In many cases, this lead to a discussion of risk management and ultimately the consideration of various wealth transfer strategies.

Upon earning the CFA designation, Daniel Dagen began seeking an organization which would provide the integrity, service and intellectual capital necessary to serve clients and their future beneficiaries from an enduring perspective.

As a Northwestern Mutual policy holder, the service Daniel Dagen had received had earned his personal trust. After further research, Daniel Dagen believed the tradition, accomplishment and concept of mutuality provided an ideal fit. Daniel Dagen joined the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in order to further his personal mission to promote the enduring experience of freedom, well being and pure fun for his family, friends, clients, employees and community.

While no one can ever have all the answers, Daniel feels confident the Network resources available to him allows him to serve clients in the manner they prefer.

Northwestern Mutual National Bronze Leader and Forum Recognition

In May, 2006, Daniel Dagen, CFA, qualified for the honor of  "Bronze Leader”, which recognizes the leading new Northwestern Mutual Agent, based upon individual performance over the previous twelve months. Daniel Dagen also qualified as a member of the distinguished Northwestern Mutual Forum.  This prestigious group represents the top 5% of Financial Representatives in the company.

 Northwestern Mutual Eastern Regional Bronze Leader

In November, 2006, Daniel Dagen, CFA, qualified for the honor of being named the “Eastern Regional Bronze Leader”, which recognizes the leading new Northwestern Mutual Agent in the Eastern region, based upon individual performance over the previous twelve months.

Having earned the CFA designation, Daniel Dagen, adheres to a commitment to the mission of the the CFA Institute.

New York Society of Securities Analysts
Daniel Dagen is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.  He was co-chair of the organization’s Trust and Estates Committee and has also helped organize several events and seminars including the 2007 Seventh Annual Wealth Management Summit.  He currently serves on the Membership Committee and the Private Wealth Management Committee.  He has also been selected to serve as a mentor in the organization's summer mentoring program SEMI Program (Scholarship, Education, Mentoring and Internship).

National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA)
Daniel is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). The mission of NAIFA is to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of our members.

NAIFA is a national nonprofit organization representing the interests of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors nationwide, through its federation of over 900 state and local associations. Founded in 1890, NAIFA is the nation's largest financial services membership association.

Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)
Daniel Dagen is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Founded in 1927, MDRT provides its members with resources to improve their technical knowledge, sales and client service while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards.

MDRT's mission is to be a valued, member-driven international network of leading insurance and investment financial services professionals who serve their clients by exemplary performance and the highest standards of ethics, knowledge, service and productivity.
